Unconventional methods of thread measuring and checking

Abstract:

Determining the definition dimensions of metric thread by conventional methods, such as by a micrometer or a gauge, is for external threaded bolts relatively accu-rate and reliable. For internal threaded nuts, procedures are slightly more compli-cated. The specification of this work is to use an unconventional means of thread measuring in the form of visual inspection made on the In- Sight Explorer soft-ware platform of a Cognex industrial camera. Specifically, using inspection, the problem of the incompatibility of metric thread is investigated here when the thread in nuts does not correspond with the bolt. It is not possible to screw the bolt; therefore, the joint does not do its job. Internal and external metric threads were measured when using the geometric and measure-ment functions of the In-Sight Explorer, aimed at obtaining clear results that could be the basis for determining the cause of thread incompatibility, which succeeded in the end.

Miestne dane v rozpočte konkrétnej obce

Abstract:

Príspevok je zameraný na zhodnotenie miestnych daní ako súčasti rozpočtových príjmov vo vybranej obci. Cieľom príspevku je porovnať vývoj jednotlivých miestnych daní a poplatkov v období rokov 2009 – 2013. Okrem toho je zhodnotený vplyv legislatívnych zmien v daňovej politike v SR na miestne dane a poplatky. Výsledky v príspevku poukazujú na vplyv decentralizácie právomocí na orgány obce v oblasti daní a poplatkov na výšku vlastných daňových príjmov v konkrétnej obci.

Abstract:

Better acoustic solution can be detected not just experimentally, but also by computing and choosing adequate tools for the simulation of selected physical process. Simulation can detect the acoustic properties of materials used in the design of vehicles. Acquired information on the behaviour of different acoustic materials can consequently be used in the design of sound resistant structures of railway vehicles.

Kvantifikace slovního vyjádření důležitosti kritérií v ekonomických rozhodovacích procesech

Abstract:

Důležitost kritérií v ekonomických rozhodovacích procesech může být vyjádřena slovně. Za účelem kvantifikace této informace může být vyjádřena důležitost pomocí lingvistické proměnné. Pak jednotlivé slovní výrazy vyjadřující důležitost kritérií jsou opsány prostřednictvím trojúhelníkových fuzzy čísel tvořících fuzzy škálu slovních významů. Příspěvek nabízí pohled na proces vytvoření této fuzzy škály. Je představen postup konstrukce trojúhelníkových fuzzy čísel, respektive jejich funkcí příslušnosti v rámci celé fuzzy škály. Pro praktické potřeby je navržena transformace fuzzy škály spočívající v eliminaci „extremálních“ výrazů. Dále jsou definovány základní pojmy teorie fuzzy množin, nechybí ani představení konceptu lingvistické proměnné. Slovní vyjádření důležitosti kritérií pomocí popsaných přístupů je demonstrováno na případu vytváření investičního portfolia.

Cross Cultural Issues in International Human Resource Management

Abstract:

Globalized economics, multinational corporations, foreign direct investment and still increasing migration flows result in more intensive professional contact of people from different cultures and consequently also in more apparent display of intercultural differences. These differences seem to be crucial for human resource management in international environment that is shaped by trends mentioned above. By description method, the paper presents the strategies that foreign subsidiaries of multinational corporations use in practice. Secondly, it examines what employees based on their country of origin the management prefers and what implications it has for organizational environment. Moreover, the paper focuses on competences of the international manager and on issues that he may face to.

Compliance of Ethical Principles During Release of Employees from Employment, by Employers in Slovak Republic

Abstract:

Release of employees from employment is complex process. There are many aspects that have to be respected and ethical principles are one of them. In this study, compliance of ethical principles, by employers, was researched. Relationship was proven between the way of release and compliance of ethical principles. Respondents, who were released from employment by initiative of employers, claimed that ethical principles were not respected, during the releasing process. These respondents were also dissatisfied with whole releasing process. To help employers with releasing employees, ethical release from employment was described.

Analýza prevalencie kyberšikany v Slovenskej republike

Abstract:

Štúdia analyzuje kyberšikanu na základe latentných tried (LCA) a demografických premenných (pohlavie, vek, typu školy, región) a následnú klasifikáciu žiakov do jednotlivých tried. Výskumný súbor sa skladal z 1619 žiakov vo veku 11 -18 rokov (priemerný vek bol 14,51). Výsledky ukazujú, že v prípade kyberšikany sa ako najlepší model javí model 3 latentných tried. Relatívna entropia tohto modelu je 0.915. Preukázalo sa, že 42,7 % žiakov sa stalo obeťami nepravdivých informácií, urážok alebo nevhodného správania na internete. Najmenší skupina (4,4%) predstavuje žiakov, ktorí sú častými páchateľmi kyberagresie a tiež častými obeťami.

Conceptualization of public sphere and public interest

Abstract:

The article deals with the problem of conceptualization of public sphere in the context of history of socio-political thinking. In this article we show a connection between the concept of "public sphere" and "public interest" and we also list two basic approaches related to this subject. The first approach is connected with the German philosopher J. Habermas and his 'end-oriented theory' of public sphere. The second approach is presented by the American philosopher N. Fraser and her 'act-oriented theory' of public sphere. In conclusion we state that Fraser' theory of public sphere offers us reasonable background for understanding of 'public interest'.

Projektivní test pro měření úrovně klíčových kompetencí - pilotní ověření

Abstract:

Článek je zaměřen na způsob měření klíčových kompetencí. Autor se zabývá projektivním testem jako nástrojem pro jejich měření. Pro pilotní ověření zvolil autor měření klíčové kompetence k učení. Úroveň osvojení této kompetence měřil pomocí dvou projektivních metod: testu nedokončených vět a slovního asociačního experimentu. Navržený test byl aplikován na žácích 2. stupně základní školy. Projektivní test bude v budoucnu použit pro testování rozvoje kompetence k učení u stejné skupiny žáků, kdy výuka bude podpořena využitím Personal Learning Environment.

Abstract:

Lying is a part of everyday life, so it is not surprising that occurs also in the workplace. This paper will give a definition of lying, thereafter focus on deception at a job interview and how to detect lies of job applicants, discuss lying at workplace, the reasons why employees lie, and discuss consequences of lies at different levels of the organization. Then, the article ends with describing what managers can do as reaction of lying of employees. Lying is a form of undesirable behavior of employees; therefore this issue should be given necessary attention. This article may help understand the importance of paying attention to everyday lies in the working environment, which usually do not attract attention, but can disrupt workplace.

Abstract:

The article represents specific focus on TUKE students professional background, with impact on early adulthood potential exploitiation. We indicate particular results of bachelor and engineer students, who mapped the creativity, capability of taking the responisibilty, new ideas, innovations and asset of imagination, physical balance, handling the stress, capability to negotiate and committment to responsibility. We used the results of stated key business components to prepare the subject Business skills for noneconomists. The results of both files have not been statistically significant; as shown, developmental period takes potential of every single young person into account, which we can develop into exploring identity at the time of testing various possibilities of young people implementation at work, accounding to the data collected.

Abstract:

Miestna samospráva v súčasnosti predstavuje trvalú a neoddeliteľnú súčasť moderných demokracií, založených na princípe subsidiarity. Článok je zameraný na problematiku normotvorby obcí v podmienkach Slovenskej republiky. Napriek skutočnosti, že Ústava Slovenskej republiky priznáva obciam ako základným územných samosprávnym celkom právo na samosprávu, ktorého súčasťou je aj právo vo veciach územnej samosprávy a na zabezpečenie vecí vyplývajúcich pre územnú samosprávu zo zákona vydávať všeobecne záväzné nariadenia, dozorné a kontrolné orgány k normotvorbe obcí pristupujú značne reštriktívne. Cieľom príspevku je poukázať na prax dozorných a kontrolných orgánov v podmienkach Slovenskej republiky, a sčasti aj na aplikačné problémy a otázky, ktoré s tým súvisia.

High pressure processing for pea spread shelf life extension: a preliminary study

Abstract:

The effects of high pressure processing – HPP – (500 and 700 MPa/10, 20 and 30 min/20 °C) on the microbiological quality and colour of maple pea spread were compared to thermal processing (sous vide 80 °C/15 min). Microbiological quality during 15 days at 4 °C was evaluated. Pea spread was filled in polyamide/polyethylene film pouches, packaged in vacuum and hermetically sealed. Pea spreads were made of cooked peas ‘Bruno’ (Pisum sativum var. arvense L.), to which salt, citric acid, oil and herb spice were added. Total plate count was determined on Plate Count agar, Enterobacteriaceae- on Violet Red Bile agar with Glucose, coliforms- on Endo agar. Decontamination of seasonings was carried out using UV-C treatment and sterilization. Identification of bacteria was completed with API biochemical test system. Colour analysis was carried out in L*a*b* colour space. Total plate count in untreated pea spread was 3.41 log10 CFU g-1, all processed samples showed significantly reduced microbial contamination (p<0.05). 101="" coliforms="" were="" not="" detected="" and="" enterobacteriaceae="" count="" was="" cfu="" g-1="" after="" two="" week="" storage="" at="" 0.5="" c.="" spores="" of="" b.="" subtilis="" licheniformis="" found="" in="" all="" pea="" spread="" source="" these="" bacteria="" herb="" spice.="" uv-c="" treatment="" showed="" considerable="" decrease="" microbiological="" contamination="" sterilization="" did="" destroy="" spores.="" hpp="" influence="" colour="" p="">0.05). HPP (at 700 MPa) demonstrates improvement in pea spread shelf life compared to untreated sample and thermal processing, and is suitable for pea spread shelf-life extension.

Rotační tváření konců trubek z AL slitin

Abstract:

Téma článku je motivováno technologií výroby potrubí pro rozvod chladiva klimatizace osobního automobilu. Protože automobil je typický produkt velkosériové výroby, průmyslová praxe vyžaduje detailní znalost a popis technologických procesů spojených s výrobou. Jednou z operací při výrobě potrubí je tváření konce trubky z lehkých neželezných slitin za studena do rotačně symetrického tvaru. V článku jsou uvedeny příklady vyráběných produktů. Příspěvek si klade za cíl popsat proces tváření pomocí volitelných technologických parametrů a stanovit závislost potřebných tvářecích sil a výkonů na těchto parametrech.

Motivácia k práci vo verejnej službe

Abstract:

The article deals with problems of motivation to work in the public service. It provides the theoretical background of issue and presents the results of research. The questionnaire PSM (Perry, 1996) was the research tool. The research sample consisted of university students in study program Public Administration in full time study. It was found from low to average rate motivation to work in the public service in the overall score as well as individual factors: policy making, commitment to the public interest, social justice, civic duty, compassion, self-sacrifice. It was demonstrated the significant differences in factors civic duty and compassion by gender, in favor of women. They were also shown significant differences in factors civic duty, compassion and self-sacrifice by level of study, in favor to respondents of students in bachelor degree study. Respondents were prevailed by normative motives and the lowest level was reached by affective motives.

Analýza proporcií mäkkých tkanív tváre pomocou 3D skenov, pilotná štúdia

Abstract:

Hlavným cieľom našej štúdie bolo získať optimálne hodnoty proporcií mäkkých tkanív tváre v závislosti od pohlavia vo veku 18 – 35 rokov na základe analýzy 3D tvárových skenov. Vo výskume boli 3D modely tváre ľudí pochádzajúcich a žijúcich v Slovenskej republike, tj. bielej rasy kaukazského typu. Do pilotnej štúdie sme zahrnuli 14 tvárových skenov. Z nameraných hodnôt u mužov a žien sme určili priemernú hodnotu ako aj medián zobrazujúci najčastejšie sa vyskytujúcu hodnotu pre danú proporciu v populácii žien a mužov a porovnali sme ju s Farkasovou štúdiou. U mužov sme získali nasledovné výsledky: Najvyššia zhoda sa vyskytla v pomereme proporcií stomion – gnathion k hodnote subnasale –gnathion. Najnižšia miera zhody sa vyskytla v pomeroch medzi pravým a ľavým gonionom k k hodnote meranej medzi nasion-gnathion. U žien sme taktiež určili priemernú hodnotu a medián a porovnali sme ju s Farkasovou štúdiou. Najvyššia zhoda sa vyskytla v pomere subnasale – gnathion k hodnote nasion gnathion. Najnižšia miera zhody sa vyskytla u pomeroch: medzi pravým a ľavým gonionom mäkkých tkanív k hodnote medzi pravým a ľavým zygionom mäkkých tkanív. Do 3D analýz sme zahrnuli aj analýzu overujúcu platnosť zlatého rezu. Z meraní sme vytvorili priemernú hodnotu, ktorú sme porovnali s hodnotou 1,618. Analýzy sme prevádzali zvlášť u mužov a žien. Z výsledkov vyplýva, že nami namerané hodnoty sa približujú hodnote 1,618, ale nie sú s týmto číslom totožné. Vyššie percento zhody však pozorujeme u žien (92,0 %) v porovnaní s mužmi (91,1%). Podľa publikácií Young Kiu Lima a Tartaglia sme vytvorili podrobnejšiu analýzu hodnotiacu vybrané parametre, ktoré sa sústredili hlavne na dolnú tretinu tváre, tj. na časť tváre, ktorá je najviac ovplyvniteľná čeľustno – ortopedickou liečbou.

Border conditions for cooling throughout solar thermal radiation

Abstract:

The paper deals with an absorption cooling systemsimulating the influence that size has on cold storage for the efficient operation of absorption units of a selected experimental room. The research is based on an experimental device (absorption units with a performance of 10kW). Outputs in this paper are processed so that they connect the entire scheme of the solar absorption cooling system (i.e. the relationship between the solar systems hot and cold storage and the absorption unit). To determine the size of the storage required, calculated cooling for summer months is considered by the ramp rate of the absorption unit and required flow rate of the collectors. The following simulations will take place with connection of the all the components, in order to the whole scheme work efficiently. The individual simulations took place in the simulation program TRANSOL.

Disorders of sexual preference in the perception of the general public

Abstract:

Disorders of sexual preference are so-called paraphilias. It is a condition that is characterized by permanent disposition or compulsive urge to unusual and socially unaccepted sexual objects or activities. In the research, carried out on the basis of the grant of College of Polytechnics Jihlava, perceptions of the general public on the topic of paraphilia were analyzed. The research was conducted by quantitative research using the technique of the survey. The results of this research showed that general public consider the information in the media about paraphilias as somewhat biased. The public perceives paedophilia as the biggest danger.

The main purpose of this paper is to provide an empirical evidence on the importance of the adaption management and profile oriented marketing systems for a clearly structured future and profile oriented urban development concept/system for the new demands of public/city planer in order to provide a high sustainable, competitive and innovative developmental quality for their inhabitants to live and work in. This future oriented development, create a challenging situation for the diverse districts. With the help of systematic, dynamic development processes the goal can be achieved. Firstly you have to figure out, how you can connect and implement profile oriented marketing and adaption management. Therefore you have to clear the question, is adaption management important to profile oriented marketing and development systems? The Answer is: Yes, it is! Adaptive management is a valuable tool and significantly correlated with sustainable marketing development processes. In this context, we also bear in mind that today innovation, diversity and networked thinking, are significant factors. Therefore the planer/organizations serves as a role model for the inhabitants and needs to be adapted to the new usage and specially needs at every step. Economic Evaluation of Preparation and Building Stage of Additive Manufacturing Process

Abstract:

Additive manufacturing is a very perspective manufacturing technology being still at the beginning of its life cycle. Provisionary deficiencies like low speed at higher volumes production, high investment costs and general unawareness of technology may, together with inaccurate calculations, lead to incorrect decisions on investments in this technology. This article focuses on clarification and specification of cost calculation model used to specify costs of component production by way of example, a steering mast of a racing car. The cost model is primarily meant for technologies based on powder material fusion and after slight modification can be used for other types of additive manufacturing technologies. The example is complemented with sensitivity analysis.

Postoje a motívy k voľbe učiteľského štúdia

Abstract:

Príspevok je zameraný na analýzu postojov a motívov k voľbe učiteľského štúdia u študentov a študentiek prvých ročníkov bakalárskeho štúdia rôznych učiteľských študijných programov (N = 160). Z analýz výsledkov dvojdimenzionálneho sémantického diferenciálu a dotazníka motivácie k štúdiu učiteľstva vyplýva, že respondenti a respondentky majú k učiteľskej profesii kladné až neutrálne postoje, takmer 75 % plánuje učiteľskú kariéru.Štatisticky významné rozdiely sme zaznamenali v postojoch aj v motívoch medzi budúcimi učiteľmi a učiteľkami pre primárne a sekundárne vzdelávanie. Študentky učiteľstva pre primárne vzdelávanie vnímajú učiteľskú profesiu pozitívnejšie a najviac ich k štúdiu učiteľstva motivujú predchádzajúce skúsenosti. Výsledky učiteľov a učiteliek pre sekundárne vzdelávanie nie sú také konzistentné.

Výuka francouzského jazyka z pohledu učitele a žáka: výsledky výzkumu na školách v Hradci Králové

Abstract:

Článek se zaměřuje na analýzu výuky francouzského jazyka a na porovnání názorů učitele a žáka na vyučovací proces. Text přináší nejprve informace o školách, na kterých výzkum probíhal. Následně prezentuje použitou metodologii a nakonec interpretuje výsledky výzkumu založeného na pozorování, dotazníkovém šetření a rozhovorech. V závěru autorky přináší porovnání dat sebraných od žáků a učitelů. Cílem příspěvku je přinést inspiraci pro zkvalitnění výuky francouzského jazyka na základních a středních školách.

Procesné riadenie ako cesta k uplatňovaniu princípov Good Governance

Abstract:

K významným konceptom, ktoré sa snažia odstraňovať nedostatky vo fungovaní verejnej správy patrí koncepcia Good Governance. Vo svojej podstate apeluje na dodržiavanie základných princípov, ktorých uplatnenie by malo viesť k efektívnejšej, transparentnejšej, demokratickejšej a spoľahlivejšej verejnej správe. Princípy predstavujú v tomto poňatí základný filozofický rámec pre charakter činností, ktorý je nevyhnutné pretaviť do praxe prostredníctvom konkrétnych nástrojov, postupov a metód. Teória verejného manažmentu bola už cez mnohé prístupy (najmä však cez koncept New Public Management) obohatená o inšpirácie podnikovým manažmentom. Za jeden z kľúčových prístupov k optimalizácii riadenia možno považovať procesné riadenie. Zlepšovanie procesov sa stáva dôležitou otázkou a zároveň spôsobom, ako môže každá organizácia (verejná i súkromná) riešiť výzvy rastúcej efektívnosti, účinnosti, kapacity, flexibility, či prístupnosti. Procesné riadenie je v súkromnej sfére značne známym a rozpracovaným konceptom, avšak v oblasti verejnej správy naráža na mnohé limity, ktorých prekonanie možno vidieť práve v prepojení s koncepciami špecificky vytvorenými pre modernú verejnú správu. Príspevok rieši otázku využitia výhod procesného riadenia vo verejných organizáciách pri napĺňaní podstaty a princípov Good Governance, v aplikácii na podmienky verejnej správy v Slovenskej republike.

Innovative productivity linked to perception of organisational climate

Abstract:

This paper provides an overview of the role of organisational climate in context with managerial practices and innovation. Based on existing studies this paper explicates the mediating role that climate plays between leadership as an antecedent factor influencing the intervening variable of climate, which, in turn, affects innovation. The purpose of this paper was to discuss on how leaders and managers affect innovation and creativity through their efforts to deliberately foster a work climate that supports creative thinking. The first section is an explaining the general concept of organisational climate. In the second section organisational climate will be linked to leadership and innovation. The final section is conclusion in a manner of discussing the following Thesis: „Leader must learn how to create an organisational climate where others apply innovative thinking to solve problems and develop new products.“

Sémantické a strukturální ukotvení čísla v žákovských řešeních slovní úlohy

Abstract:

V žákovských řešeních jedné slovní úlohy sledujeme autorská zdůvodnění matematizace úlohy a jejího numerického řešení. Analyzujeme příčiny chyb s aspektem na komunikaci a kognici, navrhujeme možnosti individuální reedukace, doplňujeme didaktickými nástroji. Zadaná úloha odpovídá sémantické situaci se třemi parametry: stav počáteční, stav koncový a operátor změny, přičemž všechny parametry jsou zadány jako počet. Numerace probíhá v oboru přirozených čísel s nulou do 100. Úlohu zadáváme patnácti žákům 2. ročníku základní školy. Výzkum je součástí testování dětí předškolního a mladšího školního věku.
