Mediálna gramotnosť a vekové rozdiely žiakov

Abstract:
Média sú neoddeliteľnou súčasťou každodenného života a je dôležité pochopiť význam a správnosť ich používania, vyhodnocovania či spracovávania. Cieľom štúdie bolo zistiť a analyzovať úroveň mediálnej gramotnosti žiakov II. stupňa ZŠ, komparovať významné výsledky z hľadiska veku žiakov a zdôrazniť význam preventívneho rozmeru kyberagresie. Výskumným nástrojom bol dotazník a výskumu sa zúčastnilo 350 respondentov. Prieskumom sme zistili, že starší žiaci si viac uvedomujú nebezpečnosť a nepravdivosť médií oproti mladším žiakom. Žiaci sa aktívne zapájajú do tvorby mediálneho obsahu a výrazne dominuje u všetkých vekových kategórií uverejňovanie fotiek a videí na sociálnych sieťach. Pozitívom je, že žiaci si uvedomujú potrebu overovania informácií a majú záujem komunikovať s rodičmi či učiteľmi. Pri informovanosti žiakov o online ohrozeniach sa ukázalo, že starší žiaci poznajú výrazne viac online ohrození, ako mladší žiaci. Prieskumom chceme zdôrazniť dôležitosť väčšej informovanosti a prevencie žiakov, aby sme tak zabránili v budúcnosti nepríjemným mediálnym zážitkom a kyberagresii. Zároveň chceme poukázať na odlišnosti mediálnej gramotnosti žiakov z hľadiska veku.

Professional identity of university teachers: an overview of the current research

Abstract:
This systematic overview study focuses on the research addressing the professional identity of university teachers in the previous decade (2010–2020). The research covers 5 studies, which were compared in terms of their focus and the variables based on which professional identity was explained, research methods, and main findings. The analysis showed that most frequently, the method of interview and “self” as an auxiliary variable were used to explain professional identity.

Professional roles of university teachers in the context of adult educator competence models

Abstract:
As a result of the increasing share of the adult population in education in recent years, the professional role of university teachers has changed and shifted more significantly towards the role of adult educators (from pedagogical to andragogical competences). It is questionable whether the consequences of massification and diversification of higher education are reflected in the development competence frameworks for adult educators. The presented overview study analyses 10 competence models in chronological order with the goal to determine whether they integrate the professional roles of university teachers. The results suggest that the described trends are not yet explicitly defined in the competence frameworks of adult educators.

Hodnotenie kvality poskytovanej zdravotnej starostlivosti z pohľadu pacienta

Abstract:
Ľudia hodnotia kvalitu zdravotnej starostlivosti predovšetkým na základe osobných skúseností i očakávaní. Každý pacient vníma kvalitu svojím spôsobom. Na hodnotenie vplýva aj miera profesionality, citlivosti a všímavosti zdravotníckych pracovníkov, spôsob ich komunikácie, ale aj úprava ich zovňajšku. Rovnako významným faktorom je aj dĺžka čakacích dôb, hygiena a čistota zdravotníckeho zariadenia, kultúra a kvalita stravovania, možnosti parkovania, možnosť výberu nadštandardných služieb atď. Cieľom úsilia o kvalitu služieb v zdravotníctve je zlepšovanie kvality života každého pacienta. Pacient má právo vyjadriť sa ku kvalite zdravotnej starostlivosti a rovnako má právo subjektívne posúdiť mieru spokojnosti, prípadne nespokojnosti.

Impulsivity of Adolescents and Parenting Styles in the Context of Experimentation with Smoking

Abstract:
The study examines tobacco-related behaviour in families in the context of experimentation with smoking, the implementation of parenting styles and the impulsivity of adolescents in the context of tobacco abuse. The study group consisted of a total of N (548) adolescents, including N (males) = 247, N (females) = 301, mean age of the adolescents: AM = 16.3. The study employs questionnaire methods, specifically a demographic questionnaire (initiation of smoking, tobacco-related behaviour); a questionnaire into situational-motivational factors of smoking – an additional scale of tobacco-related behaviour in the family (Rojková, Gálová, 2015); the IVE questionnaire of impulsivity (Eysenck & Eysenck, 1985); and a questionnaire related to parental authority – a survey of parenting styles (Buri, 1991). The most significant findings: in the case of authoritative parenting, the rate of experimentation with smoking is at its lowest, and it rises with as the impulsivity of adolescents increases. The tobacco-related behaviour of parents represents a significant predictor of experimentation with smoking in adolescence.

Abstract:
Obehové hospodárstvo si vyžaduje vytváranie takých produktov, ktoré budú spotrebovávať čo najmenej primárnych zdrojov a energie a zároveň budú preferovať využívanie obnoviteľných zdrojov a materiálov. Produkty obehového hospodárstva musia spĺňať požiadavky opätovného použitia, opraviteľnosti, zlepšenia, recyklovateľnosti alebo environmentálne prijateľnej odbúrateľnosti, pričom sa neustále znižuje uhlíková stopa. Regionálne centrum obehového hospodárstva je ekologický, ekonomicky efektívny a sociálne spravodlivý systém obehového hospodárstva v regióne modelu QUINTUPLE HELIX orientovaný na obyvateľov. Na družstevnej forme vytvára kolaboratívne hospodárstvo s vlastným sociálnym a investičným fondom. Integrované riešenia sú hodnotené a monitorované na merateľných sociálnych, environmentálnych a ekonomických ukazovateľoch.

Italští legionáři a domobranci v české literatuře

Abstract:
Příspěvek představí fenomén české legionářské literatury jako nedílnou součást kulturního dědictví První republiky. Speciálně se zaměří na méně známou italskou frontu. Přiblíží pozapomenuté legionáře a domobrance, kteří na základě osobních zkušeností vstoupili na literární pole a zasloužili se o rozvoj české legionářské literatury. Uvedenými modelovými příklady budou spisovatel a učitel František Horečka; básník, prozaik, dramatik, překladatel a propagátor italských reálií Bartoš Vlček; a spisovatel a knihovník Václav Fryček.

Abstract:
Príspevok sa zaoberá už celkom zabudnutým predchodcom kalkulačiek, ktorým sú logaritmické pravítka a tabuľky a ich vplyvom na rozvoj vedy a techniky. Ľudia, ktorí v matematike nenašli zaľúbenie, sa na škole tešili na kalkulačky, teda na čarovnú tenkú skrinku, z ktorej bez váhania a bez chýb vypadávajú výsledky. Veď prečo strácať čas namáhavým počítaním, keď na to existuje stroj. A namiesto mozgovej činnosti spotrebovávajúcej časť života to vypočíta nám dnes známa kalkulačka, alebo mobilný telefón. No nebolo tomu z pohľadu histórie vždy tak a ľudský um mal ešte veľký význam na ceste k správnemu výsledku základných numerických operácií. Logaritmické pravítka a tabuľky nepočítajú bez zásahu človeka ako kalkulačky, ale numerický výpočet výrazne uľahčujú oproti samotnému peru a papieru.

Využitie vlhkej terapie v klinickej praxi

Abstract:
Vlhká terapia je založená na poznatku, že hojenie najlepšie prebieha vo vlhkom prostredí a jednotlivé prípravky by mali byť predovšetkým mimoriadne účinné s jednoduchým použitím, bezpečné a šetrné pre pacienta i ošetrujúci personál a ekonomicky výhodné. Vďaka vlastnostiam produktov vlhkej terapie sa uskutočňuje oveľa menej preväzov, ktoré pacienta traumatizujú, liečba je navyše rýchlejšia a efektívnejšia ako v prípade použitia tradičných krycích materiálov na ranu.

Zvyšovanie úrovne kritického myslenia žiakov na primárnom stupni vzdelávania

Abstract:
Cieľom predkladaného príspevku je predstaviť výsledky pedagogického výskumu zaoberajúceho sa vytváraním základov pre kritické myslenie žiakov na primárnom stupni vzdelávania v SR. V súvislosti s vytváraním základov kritického myslenia žiakov v edukačnom procese je dôležité zamerať sa najmä na rozvíjanie vyšších kognitívnych procesov, ktoré sú hierarchicky usporiadané v rámci revidovanej Bloomovej taxonómie vzdelávacích cieľov. Predpokladom zámerného rozvíjania vyšších kognitívnych procesov je poznanie príslušných aktívnych slovies, ktoré vymedzujú jednotlivé kategórie Bloomovej taxonómie. Na základe týchto aktívnych slovies dokážeme identifikovať, ktoré kognitívne schopnosti by sa mali rozvíjať, a aká úroveň kognitívnych procesov je potrebná pre zvládnutie učiva. Výskumným zámerom bolo dotazníkovou metódou zistiť mieru využívania aktívnych slovies učiteľmi pri tvorbe vzdelávacích aktivít podľa ročníkov primárneho stupňa vzdelávania.

Abstract:
Súčasná edukácia očakáva aktívny teoretický a praktický prístup k otázkam výchovy a vzdelávania budúcich, resp. začínajúcich školákov. Vo teoretickej štúdii orientujeme pozornosť na možnosti pedagogickej intervencie v prechodnom období z materskej školy do 1. ročníka základnej školy vo vzťahu k prevencii adaptačných ťažkostí žiakov na začiatku školskej dochádzky. Cieľom príspevku je teoreticky popísať vybrané možnosti predchádzania adaptačných ťažkostí žiakov na začiatku školskej dochádzky. Adaptačným ťažkostiam je potrebné venovať pozornosť nielen ich riešením, ale najmä prevenciou výskytu. Prostredníctvom cieľavedomých a systematicky aplikovaných stratégií je možné im efektívne predchádzať a formovať predpoklady na úspešnú adaptáciu každého žiaka.

Modern management and leadership in the environment of companies

Abstract:
The paper deals with the issue of leading people in an environment where the traditional principles are no longer followed as it was a few years ago, but completely new, modern strategies and techniques are emerging. The aim of the research is to find out which of the selected countries is closest to the Slovak Republic from the corporate people management point of view. The premise of the research was that the leadership style of people in the Slovak Republic is closest to the leadership style in the Czech Republic and Poland. An analysis of secondary data of research, projects and studies of people management in 12 selected European countries in the evaluated parameters is the content. It also contains an analysis of the results of a questionnaire survey focused on people management in the Slovak Republic. It was found that from the point of view of corporate people management, Slovak managers use participatory style of people management the most, within the surveyed countries they are most similar to managers in Luxembourg. As a result, it is possible to refute the assumption that Slovak managers are most similar to Czech and Polish.

Inflation in the Euro area

Abstract:
At present, the concept of inflation is often mentioned in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, especially its growth. Inflation is defined and corrected by the monetary policy managed by the European Central Bank. It represents a general increase in the prices of goods and services, not just individual prices. In this paper, we mention important studies that deal with inflation, inflation developments and the relationship between inflation and other macroeconomic variables. We focus on the evolution of the inflation rate, as measured by the HICP index in 19 euro area countries. We compare the development in individual countries with the development in the euro area as a whole. We focus on the development of inflation in the period from 1997 to 2020. We look at inflation rate forecasts for 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. We compare these inflation rate forecasts with our forecasts.

Family environment as a predictor of online threats

Abstract:
In this paper, we focus on the family environment and online risk behaviours. Specifically, we theoretically explicate the issue of online challenges as one type of online risk behaviour and parental cyber control. As part of the study, we conducted research to identify predictors responsible for engagement in online challenges. The research was conducted on a sample of 128 respondents. It was found to be strongly statistically significant that boys are more likely to have their online content restricted by their parents compared to girls. Boys are monitored by both parents. Children living in complete families are more likely to confide in their parents about the problems they experience in the online space compared to children living in incomplete families. The results also show that children in complete families are more likely to communicate with their parents about potential online threats compared to children in incomplete families. This fact is also strongly statistically significant.

Abstract:
The main aim of this article is to analyse the possibilities of risks and the introduction of the methodology for work with risks in accredited laboratory according to the ISO/IEC 17025. The effort is to sufficiently meet all the requirements of the standard and set up risk assessment process so that is understandable for accredited laboratory and easy to use for subsequent analyses. The aim of this article is to provide complex view into the given issue and these conclusions could be used as an informational source for laboratories, which will start the certification of the implementation the quality system management.

Wedge pneumatic flexible shaft coupling suitable for mechanical power transmission

Abstract:
At our Department we deal with the development of pneumatic flexible shaft couplings intended for mechanical power transmission. These new types of shaft couplings in addition to other flexible couplings are able to change their torsional stiffness by adjusting the air pressure in their flexible elements. Pneumatic flexible shaft coupling with wedge elements was developed to improve the properties of pneumatic flexible couplings, especially the nominal and maximal torque and maximum twist angle. The goal of this article is to present the static properties of this newly developed type of flexible shaft couplings. Due to the reason that flexible pneumatic coupling with wedge elements isn’t manufactured yet, we used a mathematic model of this coupling.

Analysis of rope transmission from the point of view of rope life

Abstract:
This paper analyses the possibility of increasing the life of the rope on the shifting device working on the traction transmission of the driving force. In the original solution, the service life of the rope did not even reach the designed value. By increasing the rope wrap angle on the drive drum, replacing the original spil drum with a rope with grooves for the rope, and changing the rope drive transmission, the rope load values changed to lower than allowed by the standard.

Design of gearbox lubrication system

Abstract:
The basic task of lubrication is to reduce frictional forces, reduce wear and remove heat generated from the point of contact. The most common transmission lubrication system is wading lubrication. In this way, the lubrication of the gearbox in the rope drum drive on the pickling line is also solved. The lubrication of the bevel gear of this gearbox is insufficient and is manifested by the failure rate of the given gear. The paper describes a proposal for changes in the lubrication of a specific bevel gearbox to eliminate failures due to insufficient lubrication of the bevel gears.

Defining Production Process as a Technical System – SIPOC/9W

There is a need for the improvement of production processes. When systematic creativity as TRIZ is used for process innovation, it can be tricky for non-experienced TRIZ users. Because TRIZ principles are aiming at evolution patterns of technical systems, it can be helpful to describe the production system or production process in technical system terminology. This paper aims to the determination of elements of the technical system in production processes. Laws of technical system evolution are reviewed and applied to the process improvement point of view. Results of the paper can be used as a starting point for using TRIZ principles for process improvement or for designing a new method for the use of TRIZ by inexperienced users.

Piston pneumatic flexible shaft coupling suitable for mechanical power transmission

Abstract:
The paper presents a newly developed Piston pneumatic flexible shaft coupling, which is applicable for mechanical power transmission for example in the automotive industry as a dual-mass flywheel. Its design is focused on creating the high-flexible coupling, which means flexible coupling with very low value of relative torsional stiffness. Basic characteristic properties of the coupling and its high-flexibility characteristics are theoretically determined. The coupling is protected by means of a patent.

Professional identity of university teachers: an overview of the current research

Abstract:
This systematic overview study focuses on the research addressing the professional identity of university teachers in the previous decade (2010–2020). The research covers 5 studies, which were compared in terms of their focus and the variables based on which professional identity was explained, research methods, and main findings. The analysis showed that most frequently, the method of interview and “self” as an auxiliary variable were used to explain professional identity.

Professional roles of university teachers in the context of adult educator competence models

Abstract:
As a result of the increasing share of the adult population in education in recent years, the professional role of university teachers has changed and shifted more significantly towards the role of adult educators (from pedagogical to andragogical competences). It is questionable whether the consequences of massification and diversification of higher education are reflected in the development competence frameworks for adult educators. The presented overview study analyses 10 competence models in chronological order with the goal to determine whether they integrate the professional roles of university teachers. The results suggest that the described trends are not yet explicitly defined in the competence frameworks of adult educators.

Abstract:
Ľudia hodnotia kvalitu zdravotnej starostlivosti predovšetkým na základe osobných skúseností i očakávaní. Každý pacient vníma kvalitu svojím spôsobom. Na hodnotenie vplýva aj miera profesionality, citlivosti a všímavosti zdravotníckych pracovníkov, spôsob ich komunikácie, ale aj úprava ich zovňajšku. Rovnako významným faktorom je aj dĺžka čakacích dôb, hygiena a čistota zdravotníckeho zariadenia, kultúra a kvalita stravovania, možnosti parkovania, možnosť výberu nadštandardných služieb atď. Cieľom úsilia o kvalitu služieb v zdravotníctve je zlepšovanie kvality života každého pacienta. Pacient má právo vyjadriť sa ku kvalite zdravotnej starostlivosti a rovnako má právo subjektívne posúdiť mieru spokojnosti, prípadne nespokojnosti.

Impulsivity of Adolescents and Parenting Styles in the Context of Experimentation with Smoking

Abstract:
The study examines tobacco-related behaviour in families in the context of experimentation with smoking, the implementation of parenting styles and the impulsivity of adolescents in the context of tobacco abuse. The study group consisted of a total of N (548) adolescents, including N (males) = 247, N (females) = 301, mean age of the adolescents: AM = 16.3. The study employs questionnaire methods, specifically a demographic questionnaire (initiation of smoking, tobacco-related behaviour); a questionnaire into situational-motivational factors of smoking – an additional scale of tobacco-related behaviour in the family (Rojková, Gálová, 2015); the IVE questionnaire of impulsivity (Eysenck & Eysenck, 1985); and a questionnaire related to parental authority – a survey of parenting styles (Buri, 1991). The most significant findings: in the case of authoritative parenting, the rate of experimentation with smoking is at its lowest, and it rises with as the impulsivity of adolescents increases. The tobacco-related behaviour of parents represents a significant predictor of experimentation with smoking in adolescence.

Abstract:
Obehové hospodárstvo si vyžaduje vytváranie takých produktov, ktoré budú spotrebovávať čo najmenej primárnych zdrojov a energie a zároveň budú preferovať využívanie obnoviteľných zdrojov a materiálov. Produkty obehového hospodárstva musia spĺňať požiadavky opätovného použitia, opraviteľnosti, zlepšenia, recyklovateľnosti alebo environmentálne prijateľnej odbúrateľnosti, pričom sa neustále znižuje uhlíková stopa. Regionálne centrum obehového hospodárstva je ekologický, ekonomicky efektívny a sociálne spravodlivý systém obehového hospodárstva v regióne modelu QUINTUPLE HELIX orientovaný na obyvateľov. Na družstevnej forme vytvára kolaboratívne hospodárstvo s vlastným sociálnym a investičným fondom. Integrované riešenia sú hodnotené a monitorované na merateľných sociálnych, environmentálnych a ekonomických ukazovateľoch.

Příspěvek představí fenomén české legionářské literatury jako nedílnou součást kulturního dědictví První republiky. Speciálně se zaměří na méně známou italskou frontu. Přiblíží pozapomenuté legionáře a domobrance, kteří na základě osobních zkušeností vstoupili na literární pole a zasloužili se o rozvoj české legionářské literatury. Abstract:
Príspevok sa zaoberá už celkom zabudnutým predchodcom kalkulačiek, ktorým sú logaritmické pravítka a tabuľky a ich vplyvom na rozvoj vedy a techniky. Ľudia, ktorí v matematike nenašli zaľúbenie, sa na škole tešili na kalkulačky, teda na čarovnú tenkú skrinku, z ktorej bez váhania a bez chýb vypadávajú výsledky. Veď prečo strácať čas namáhavým počítaním, keď na to existuje stroj. A namiesto mozgovej činnosti spotrebovávajúcej časť života to vypočíta nám dnes známa kalkulačka, alebo mobilný telefón. No nebolo tomu z pohľadu histórie vždy tak a ľudský um mal ešte veľký význam na ceste k správnemu výsledku základných numerických operácií. Logaritmické pravítka a tabuľky nepočítajú bez zásahu človeka ako kalkulačky, ale numerický výpočet výrazne uľahčujú oproti samotnému peru a papieru.

Využitie vlhkej terapie v klinickej praxi

Abstract:
Vlhká terapia je založená na poznatku, že hojenie najlepšie prebieha vo vlhkom prostredí a jednotlivé prípravky by mali byť predovšetkým mimoriadne účinné s jednoduchým použitím, bezpečné a šetrné pre pacienta i ošetrujúci personál a ekonomicky výhodné. Vďaka vlastnostiam produktov vlhkej terapie sa uskutočňuje oveľa menej preväzov, ktoré pacienta traumatizujú, liečba je navyše rýchlejšia a efektívnejšia ako v prípade použitia tradičných krycích materiálov na ranu.

Zvyšovanie úrovne kritického myslenia žiakov na primárnom stupni vzdelávania

Abstract:
Cieľom predkladaného príspevku je predstaviť výsledky pedagogického výskumu zaoberajúceho sa vytváraním základov pre kritické myslenie žiakov na primárnom stupni vzdelávania v SR. V súvislosti s vytváraním základov kritického myslenia žiakov v edukačnom procese je dôležité zamerať sa najmä na rozvíjanie vyšších kognitívnych procesov, ktoré sú hierarchicky usporiadané v rámci revidovanej Bloomovej taxonómie vzdelávacích cieľov. Predpokladom zámerného rozvíjania vyšších kognitívnych procesov je poznanie príslušných aktívnych slovies, ktoré vymedzujú jednotlivé kategórie Bloomovej taxonómie. Na základe týchto aktívnych slovies dokážeme identifikovať, ktoré kognitívne schopnosti by sa mali rozvíjať, a aká úroveň kognitívnych procesov je potrebná pre zvládnutie učiva. Výskumným zámerom bolo dotazníkovou metódou zistiť mieru využívania aktívnych slovies učiteľmi pri tvorbe vzdelávacích aktivít podľa ročníkov primárneho stupňa vzdelávania.

Súčasná edukácia očakáva aktívny teoretický a praktický prístup k otázkam výchovy a vzdelávania budúcich, resp. začínajúcich školákov. Vo teoretickej štúdii orientujeme pozornosť na možnosti pedagogickej intervencie v prechodnom období z materskej školy do 1. ročníka základnej školy vo vzťahu k prevencii adaptačných ťažkostí žiakov na začiatku školskej dochádzky. Cieľom príspevku je teoreticky popísať vybrané možnosti predchádzania adaptačných ťažkostí žiakov na začiatku školskej dochádzky. Adaptačným ťažkostiam je potrebné venovať pozornosť nielen ich riešením, ale najmä prevenciou výskytu. Prostredníctvom cieľavedomých a systematicky aplikovaných stratégií je možné im efektívne predchádzať a formovať predpoklady na úspešnú adaptáciu každého žiaka.

Modern management and leadership in the environment of companies

The paper deals with the issue of leading people in an environment where the traditional principles are no longer followed as it was a few years ago, but completely new, modern strategies and techniques are emerging. The aim of the research is to find out which of the selected countries is closest to the Slovak Republic from the corporate people management point of view. The premise of the research was that the leadership style of people in the Slovak Republic is closest to the leadership style in the Czech Republic and Poland. An analysis of secondary data of research, projects and studies of people management in 12 selected European countries in the evaluated parameters is the content. It also contains an analysis of the results of a questionnaire survey focused on people management in the Slovak Republic. It was found that from the point of view of corporate people management, Slovak managers use participatory style of people management the most, within the surveyed countries they are most similar to managers in Luxembourg. As a result, it is possible to refute the assumption that Slovak managers are most similar to Czech and Polish.

Inflation in the Euro area

Abstract:
At present, the concept of inflation is often mentioned in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, especially its growth. Inflation is defined and corrected by the monetary policy managed by the European Central Bank. It represents a general increase in the prices of goods and services, not just individual prices. In this paper, we mention important studies that deal with inflation, inflation developments and the relationship between inflation and other macroeconomic variables. We focus on the evolution of the inflation rate, as measured by the HICP index in 19 euro area countries. We compare the development in individual countries with the development in the euro area as a whole. We focus on the development of inflation in the period from 1997 to 2020. We look at inflation rate forecasts for 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. We compare these inflation rate forecasts with our forecasts.

Family environment as a predictor of online threats

Abstract:
In this paper, we focus on the family environment and online risk behaviours. Specifically, we theoretically explicate the issue of online challenges as one type of online risk behaviour and parental cyber control. As part of the study, we conducted research to identify predictors responsible for engagement in online challenges. The research was conducted on a sample of 128 respondents. It was found to be strongly statistically significant that boys are more likely to have their online content restricted by their parents compared to girls. Boys are monitored by both parents. Children living in complete families are more likely to confide in their parents about the problems they experience in the online space compared to children living in incomplete families. The results also show that children in complete families are more likely to communicate with their parents about potential online threats compared to children in incomplete families. This fact is also strongly statistically significant.

The main aim of this article is to analyse the possibilities of risks and the introduction of the methodology for work with risks in accredited laboratory according to the ISO/IEC 17025. The effort is to sufficiently meet all the requirements of the standard and set up risk assessment process so that is understandable for accredited laboratory and easy to use for subsequent analyses. The aim of this article is to provide complex view into the given issue and these conclusions could be used as an informational source for laboratories, which will start the certification of the implementation the quality system management.

Wedge pneumatic flexible shaft coupling suitable for mechanical power transmission

Abstract:
At our Department we deal with the development of pneumatic flexible shaft couplings intended for mechanical power transmission. These new types of shaft couplings in addition to other flexible couplings are able to change their torsional stiffness by adjusting the air pressure in their flexible elements. Pneumatic flexible shaft coupling with wedge elements was developed to improve the properties of pneumatic flexible couplings, especially the nominal and maximal torque and maximum twist angle. The goal of this article is to present the static properties of this newly developed type of flexible shaft couplings. Due to the reason that flexible pneumatic coupling with wedge elements isn’t manufactured yet, we used a mathematic model of this coupling.

Analysis of rope transmission from the point of view of rope life

This paper analyses the possibility of increasing the life of the rope on the shifting device working on the traction transmission of the driving force. In the original solution, the service life of the rope did not even reach the designed value. By increasing the rope wrap angle on the drive drum, replacing the original spil drum with a rope with grooves for the rope, and changing the rope drive transmission, the rope load values changed to lower than allowed by the standard.

Design of gearbox lubrication system

Abstract:
The basic task of lubrication is to reduce frictional forces, reduce wear and remove heat generated from the point of contact. The most common transmission lubrication system is wading lubrication. In this way, the lubrication of the gearbox in the rope drum drive on the pickling line is also solved. The lubrication of the bevel gear of this gearbox is insufficient and is manifested by the failure rate of the given gear. The paper describes a proposal for changes in the lubrication of a specific bevel gearbox to eliminate failures due to insufficient lubrication of the bevel gears.

There is a need for the improvement of production processes. When systematic creativity as TRIZ is used for process innovation, it can be tricky for non-experienced TRIZ users. Because TRIZ principles are aiming at evolution patterns of technical systems, it can be helpful to describe the production system or production process in technical system terminology. This paper aims to the determination of elements of the technical system in production processes. Laws of technical system evolution are reviewed and applied to the process improvement point of view. Results of the paper can be used as a starting point for using TRIZ principles for process improvement or for designing a new method for the use of TRIZ by inexperienced users.

Piston pneumatic flexible shaft coupling suitable for mechanical power transmission

The paper presents a newly developed Piston pneumatic flexible shaft coupling, which is applicable for mechanical power transmission for example in the automotive industry as a dual-mass flywheel. Its design is focused on creating the high-flexible coupling, which means flexible coupling with very low value of relative torsional stiffness. Basic characteristic properties of the coupling and its high-flexibility characteristics are theoretically determined. The coupling is protected by means of a patent.
